HEALTHY, RESTORATIVE STAYS
In this time of stress and anxiety, the Abita Springs Hotel offers a natural, safe, and relaxing getaway.
We have developed comprehensive cleaning guidelines to ensure the safety of our guests and staff, and have created new policies that reflect our commitment to your health and well-being.
Expanded Social Distancing Measures
-
We will limit the total occupancy of the property to 16 guests, so you will have ample social distance to enjoy the lush gardens and peaceful porches.
-
As always, each of our five guests rooms has private access from the large wrap-around porch. Public interior spaces will remain closed.
-
Contactless check-ins will continue. You will receive a code via email to let yourself into your room, and will have no in-person contact with our staff.
Health-Conscious Housekeeping
-
We are following all CDC-recommended cleaning and disinfecting guidelines for our guest rooms and public spaces.
-
We are using only EPA-endorsed disinfectants. Our staff has been thoroughly trained in effective disinfection procedures.
-
Hand sanitizer will be available to guests throughout the property.
-
Staff safety and well-being is promoted through the use of personal protective equipment and paid sick leave.
Access to Nature & Open Space
-
Our gardens are in full bloom through the spring and summer. The artesian spring and multiple private seating areas on the property offer spaces for relaxation and reflection.
-
Our location on the Tammany Trace and complimentary bicycles invite you to enjoy the fresh air in St. Tammany.
-
Many parks and preserves are within a short drive of the hotel, including Fountainebleu State Park, the Abita Creek Flatwoods Preserve, and Big Branch Marsh. We're happy to recommend additional opportunities to peacefully explore the area's natural attractions.
Local Restaurants & Groceries
-
Our neighbors at the Abita Brew Pub, Abita Cafe, and Mama D's pizza are all offering take-out meals walking distance from the hotel. Outdoor dining is also available at the Brew Pub and Cafe. Artigues Abita Market, just across the street, is also open and carries groceries, prepared foods, beer, wine, liquor, and other essentials.

Louisiana Northshore has published a list of other area restaurants that are offering take-out, delivery, and outdoor dining.
